Here we have another part built BR Britannia pacific. This time the engine is very well on the way, and includes a well built, brand new commercial boiler. The story was that this was a virtually complete engine (minus tender), and that it had been stripped down to enable painting to be undertaken. We don't think this is far from the truth, although it hasn't ever quite been complete. The cab as you can see, is well on the way, but requires finishing, and it's the same story with various other bits of the model. The bottom end is well on the way, and everything is built to a nice standard (all be it in need of a bit of tlc, a wire brush, and in some areas a bead blast cabinet could become your best tool!).
That all said, there is a very good start made here, with a nicely made boiler, which could be pushed on to being a running model without too much trauma! Beyond that,.... we will let the photos tell the story.
